In a multipoint polling
environment, the device
supports up to 50 drops.
When you’re running RS-485
or serial-printer applications
that require hardware
handshaking, the Card sends
one control signal in each
direction. You may configure
it for high or low impendance
operation—and set the carrier
to be Constantly On or
Controlled by RTS.
In addition, the Card
includes front-panel LEDs
and built-in surge protection.
NOTE: The Card is
compatible with the Mini Driver
MP (ME771A, ME772A, and
ME773A)
